Clinical Case Challenge - Derm101

A 67-year-old male patient presents for a routine skin check. He has a history of squamous cell carcinoma of the forearm. He is otherwise healthy. During the examination you note the following lesion on the pre-auricular cheek.
  • The patient reports it has been present for years.
  • It is asymptomatic and has never bled.
  • The rest of the patient’s skin exam is remarkable for some chronic sun damage.
